Finishing touches

The little details make all the difference sometimes. I have made several “under-the-hood” changes to my models and how they go together since I started building miniature Apples. But the latest, small addition really makes a big impact: logo decals for the Apple ][, ][+ and //e.

Big thanks to John Leake, co-host of the RetroMacCast (http://retromaccast.com) for designing, printing and delivering these decals at Kansasfest.

Next up, the second most requested item: a working keyboard.

Apple IIc preview

It wasn’t just hackfest entries, sessions and sleep deprivation at KansasFest 2014 for me. I did a little bit of productive work, too. Products based on the Apple IIc and IIc+ are coming soon.

Who buys these things?

I did a little digging around in Google Maps, and found out I can plot locations on a map, based on CSV data. So I threw all the RetroConnector orders at it, and here’s what it came up with (click to view larger)

New site

This site is new, and thus, is still a work in progress.

Essentially, I wanted a place to showcase the various products under the RetroConnector name that I sell on Tindie and Etsy.
